There is absolutely no picture to share for this. But I will fill you in on one tiny conversation I had regarding this whole experience.

I got a Mystic Tan! Up until last night it looked like I had wasted $25. Well, this morning. It's official: I did waste $25 dollars. I woke up, looked in the mirror to see a nice golden glow streaks! All over. Under my arms, down my legs, on my sides, my ankles...I have been scrubbing all morning to make my legs look decent. All while hearing Jevon in the background saying, "Beauty is pain!!!" 4. They were having a 70% off sale. This sweater was originally $168 and I got it for $32. The picture looks purple and doesn't quite do it justice. It's actually dark brown. I thought it would look cute with a white tee, jeans, and brown boots. I also got some mascara.

And eyeshadow. Filament and Satin Taupe.

6. Sheridan's
I had a Brett's Butter Pecan concrete. Fresh vanilla frozen custard blended with pecans & caramel. Yummm!

Have I got a day tomorrow! Farrah and I are going to Lubbock to get a spray tan, a pedicure, and something else I might chicken out on. I will be back tomorrow night to report :) Maybe.

I Fell Off The Wagon

I thought this would be cute under the black shrug I mentioned earlier. I'm not sure why this is showing up orange, but I got it in white and black.

Today was Scout and Dash's wellness check-ups. Scout had 3 shots, a fecal exam, and blood drawn. Dash had one shot, a fecal exam, and blood drawn. They both got great reports. Scout is 11.9 pounds and Dash is 85. They are a little sad right now. I tried to make it up to them by stopping at Pet Sense to get these:

But I'm not sure it helped much.

The vet did tell me that Scout will be considered a "senior" next year. This makes me extremely sad because I want him to live forever. I told Jevon that a piece of me will die when Scout does.

Today I had lunch with two co-workers at Moss Creek Ranch. It was originally a hunting lodge (still is), but they converted a house into a restaurant (downstairs) and a bed and breakfast (upstairs). They have other cabins and accommodations throughout the ranch that have been remodeled that sound really nice. It is the neatest place and the food has been great both times I have gone.

It's official! I am a Dumbass.

Jevon and I met Farrah and her husband at Texas Land & Cattle before the Tech/A&M men's basketball game. The tickets were on the court and I am certain you would be able to feel the floors vibrating from the running, get a whiff of the sweat, possibly get hit with a basketball...you get the idea. Anyway, we show up and there is 4 minutes left in the game. Yep. It started at 5:00, not 7:00. I suck.

We made the best of it and instead went to see The Uninvited. Good movie, by the way, but not nearly as good as a basketball game would have been. And for your viewing pleasure, a picture taken from where we walked in and walked right back out. Oh, and Farrah in some guy's walker and a picture of the 2 of us. One of us had one too many strawberry margaritas (hint: it wasn't Farrah).
