Today's Prompt: Write a brief, fictional piece about someone winning, someone losing, or both.
Since Katie won 1st in her cheerleading competition last weekend, I will write about the past 2 years we have gone to Florida to watch her compete (even though it's not fictional). Both times they got 6th place. Places 1st-5th get shown on ESPN and Katie's team was so close to at least getting some recognition. It was sad to know that they worked so hard and to not get the recognition they deserved. But I could not be more happy for her now because I am certain they will be shown on TV this time!
