Photography Class- Week 1

I went to my Digital Photography class tonight and I really think I'm going to like it.

First assignment: "A Reflection of Me"

Instructions: Take 10 pictures that reflect me as a person. This should include me and the things that describe me. This can be interpreted in any way (ie actual pictures of my face, me with things that I love, things that I love, things that help define me as a person, etc.). The pictures must be taken by me and/or by setting a timer. At our next class, each of our 10 pictures will be viewed by the entire class and critiqued.

My thoughts: I'm not sure which direction I am going to go with this. I do know I want to take a picture of my reflection in the pool (quite literally "a reflection of me"). Thanks for the idea, Mom. I am still brainstorming about other ideas. I want these pictures to show who I am as a person, but not just me in pictures along with random things that I love (you know, like my collection of purses!). I want these pictures to be interesting to other people. People who don't know me, but who could learn a lot about me just by seeing these pictures. I hope I can come up with something unique this coming week. I am looking forward to the challenge. :)
