I haven't been taking weekly pictures, but occasionally I will if I think about it. Anyway, here I am at 30 weeks 2 days. Excuse the mess--I was in the laundry room. This was right before Mom and I left for Lubbock where we shopped, had lunch and got a massage. Such a fun day!

* Pillow for glider, changing table cover, and cushion for toy box (in the orange-ish reddish colored fabric)

Cake Love

I love cake. I've been craving cake for like a month now. I tried making banana cupcakes the other night and they came out looking like bran muffins or chocolate cupcakes. I burned them and they were awful!

Anyway, I'm talking about a different kind of cake. This is the Petunia Pickle Bottom kind and I am in love. Here is my Licorice Pudding Cake diaper bag (thanks, Mom!).

Big Bend

I've been wanting to get this post up for awhile now (oh...since like April...) and finally have some free time. We took the trike on its first run to Big Bend along with 3 other couples. I had never been and it was beautiful (and lots of fun). Here are some pictures from the trip.

Or in this case...ME!

Jevon and I went for the anatomy scan on June 23. WE left the office knowing that our little one was healthy and HE left knowing what our little one was. I had an envelope in my purse and had Jevon write on the card what the baby was and had him seal the envelope. He handed it to me and well...I lasted about 5 hours. When it came down to it, I did not have a preference. I just want a healthy baby. That's all I have ever wanted. BUT...I just had to know. Who was I kidding?

Most of my family had planned on coming up this weekend for a pool party (which got canceled because it has been raining non-stop) and we figured we would share the news with everyone here.

We ordered a cake and had the inside of it dyed, so that when it was cut into, everyone would know...

Annnnnd...IT'S A BOY!!!

We couldn't be more thrilled and it was so great having both of our families here to share this with in person.
