My Life At The Moment

Way too much on my plate and no energy to deal with it all.

I will not look at my Mom when she takes pictures.

Dear Cleaning Lady,How in the world are you going to do this:

Dash. This was taken from the bed because that is where the majority of my day was spent.

This is by far the coolest shot I have had to do this time. You turn the white dial with the numbers on it to your dosage and then pull the end back until it stops clicking. Take the white lid off and inject. Voila! Oh and you want to know how much one of these little babies cost? $600. Good thing I didn't pay for it!

This is a door in Big Spring. It was originally in Europe somewhere and now is the entrance to "The Courtyard." You can rent it for parties and other events. I just think the door looks cool.

Last night, Jevon and I went to a FiberMax banquet that honored those who produced 2,000 pounds (or more) of cotton per acre. Apparently this is difficult to do (from what I gathered) because in the past 5 years, only 700 customers of FiberMax have been able to do this. Anyway, Jevon was awarded a plaque and a black leather jacket and is now a member of the "One Ton Club." The banquet was at Cagle's and it was so good. The best part of the evening was the entertainment. The emcee got up and began introducing these 4 little girls as "tonight's entertainment." I am thinking, "oh great, some of these old dudes rounded up their granddaughters and they are going to 'sing' for us."
WRONG!

Seriously, take 5 minutes out of your time and watch these 2 videos. They were a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

The Cactus Cuties

"Battle Hymn of the Republic"

"The National Anthem"

They sang a bunch of other songs, but these were the ones I was able to find on YouTube.

Looking For A Dress?

A not so subtle hint for your date.

Happy April Fool's Day!

After my date with the vag-cam yesterday morning and getting stuck 3 times (apparently my veins were flat because I was dehydrated), I treated myself to this: And today I spotted this bag and thought I needed it. I think it's nice and "springy."

We got fish! This lionfish is the only one that would cooperate. In addition to him, we also got a Picasso, starfish, eel (I haven't gotten a good look at him yet, so I can't post a link to one that is similar), and a puffer.

Worried

Dash has these bumps that showed up about a month ago, which have never gone away. I'm gettin' a lil' concerned. I've read all kinds of things it might be (chemical burn, maybe he rolled in something, mange, hypothyroidism, allergies, color dilution alopecia). Ugh. I'm really worried about him and will probably wind up taking him back to the vet.
